Live means a shopper can use it today, sometimes in one country or at selected stores. ChatGPT still helps people find products and open store apps, after OpenAI said the first in-chat Instant Checkout was not flexible enough.

Etsy, Instacart, Target, and Shopify still describe their own ways to buy from ChatGPT. Read those rows before assuming nothing can be purchased there. On October 22, 2026 Cafe24 said WebMCP on its stores works in ChatGPT desktop's built-in browser for search, cart, and the order form, and that the shopper logs in and pays. On October 8, 2026 Newegg said shoppers can add its app from the ChatGPT directory for a live catalog, pricing, and deals. That release does not say payment finishes inside ChatGPT.
