Pilot means a limited test, or access the company has not opened to everyone. Synchrony is piloting a way for customers with an open credit line to see their limit, balance, and financing options inside an AI shopping experience before checkout.

Note on this rowSynchrony's October 15, 2026 post says the pilots are with selected merchant partners, and that Synchrony is contributing to UCP and AP2. It does not describe a general checkout where an agent already charges a Synchrony account. A later phase would explore offering a card to someone who does not already have one.
